Company

Many eyes. One mesh.

Argus is built by Mind Hack, Inc. — a software company that builds AI-native products for the way people actually work now. We took on security because the way people build has moved faster than the security industry serving them, and we believed we could close that gap honestly.

What we believe

Three convictions that shape the product

Security should meet builders where they ship.

The way people build now — solo, on modern platforms, with AI in the loop — does not fit the legacy security stack. Argus integrates with the platforms builders actually use, with depth, not lowest-common-denominator scans.

AI changes triage, not autonomy.

Most security work is judgement applied to noise. AI is the right tool for the judgement; humans are still the right tool for any decision that touches state. The approval gate on disruptive actions is non-negotiable.

Honesty beats marketing.

Argus is not a SIEM, not a SOAR, not a SOC platform. It does not protect everything; it protects the apps, sites and code you ship — well. We say that on the homepage and we mean it.

Founder

About the founder

Argus is led by Humphrey Theodore K. Ng'ambi, CEO of Mind Hack's parent and an embedded consulting CIO/CTO at Kettle Consulting since 2019. Background: BSc Computer Science (magna cum laude); Executive MBA at Quantic/Valar. Argus is the answer to a question that came out of the founder's own building practice: who looks after the security of everything I ship?

Company FAQ

Questions, answered

Who builds Argus?
Argus is built by Mind Hack, Inc. — a Delaware-incorporated software company. The founder is Humphrey Theodore K. Ng’ambi. The team is small, deliberately, and builds AI-native products that take craft and trust seriously.
Why "Argus"?
Argus Panoptes is the hundred-eyed guardian of Greek myth — appointed to watch everything. The metaphor maps cleanly onto a security mesh: many eyes, one mesh, watching the apps and sites you ship.
Why a security product for builders specifically?
Because the way people build now — vibe-coded apps, Replit-to-production, Supabase as a backend, WordPress as half the public web — is not what existing enterprise security tools are built for. Builders carry real risk and have no place to take it. Argus is the answer.
Where are you based?
Mind Hack, Inc. is incorporated in Delaware. The team operates from Johannesburg, Solwezi/Lusaka and the US. Customers are global.
How can I get in touch?
For sales or general enquiries, the contact form on /contact reaches the team. For security disclosures, security@argusmesh.app. For press, press@argusmesh.app.
Are you hiring?
The team is small and growing carefully. If you build the kind of work you would want a hundred eyes on, write to careers@argusmesh.app with what you do best.

Build with a hundred eyes watching.
